Common Questions

We recommend at least 3 days prior for maximum effectiveness but if you don't have that much time, it can still reduce existing bleeding.

How soon do I need to take the pills for it to be effective?

Start the pills ideally 3 days prior and continue taking them as directed for the entire duration of your trip or event.

How long do I take the pills for?

NETA pills are approximately $1.50 per day whereas MPA pills are $.50 per day. Our physicians can help prescribe the appropriate medication for you.

What's the cost per day?

We offer same-day appointments so you can pick up the medication at any pharmacy of your choice right after.

How soon can I get my prescription?

TeleTest is 100% online. That means regardless of where you are in Ontario, as long as you have a phone or computer, you can get the care you need.

Where do I speak with a doctor?

Whenever it is convenient for you. If you miss your appointment, you simply log in to your account and reschedule to a time that works for you.

When do I speak with a doctor?

Yes, if you are under 25 or over 64, most medications are covered by OHIP. You only pay to speak with our physicians.

Does TeleTest accept OHIP?

Not a problem, you can still get the medication you need.

What if I don't have OHIP?

No, this only applies to walk-in clinics. Since TeleTest is an online clinic, your family doctor does not get penalized.

Will my family doctor get in trouble if I use TeleTest?

We work with all major pharmacies so you can pick it up at any pharmacy of your choice.
