Most tests are covered by eligible provincial coverage when medically necessary and ordered at appropriate intervals. We have three layers to make sure you're never surprised by costs:

1. Panels are marked as provincial health coverage eligible where applicable, so you know before you start.
2. Your clinician confirms coverage during the requisition review. Any private-pay tests are flagged before your requisition is finalized.
3. Uninsured tests are printed on a separate requisition , so you can opt out at any time -- at confirmation or at the lab. You're never forced to pay for tests you don't want.

The $49 consultation fee is not covered by provincial plans but may be eligible for private insurance or HSA.
